When Alissa caught me doing my “Iron Sheik” workout she called me weird…I don’t know why (LOL). Every other day with my cardio and ab workout I take care of those potential “weak links”…important stabilizing and supportive synergist muscles that are often neglected. In this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxLqQvqEoaI) I’m working my neck extensors and forearm/grip strength. Not only does this help me prevent injuries (medial/lateral epicondylitis for one example) but it improves my technique and performance on several exercises. Stronger neck extensors help maintain better posture and form on exercises like push-ups, seated rows and bent-over rows.
